Inception & initial consultation

An initial meeting at our office is usually the best way to discuss your ideas and aspirations for your project.
This also helps to ascertain whether it is a full architectural service you require or a partial service tailored to your specific requirements.
Please call or email to arrange an initial no obligation meeting.

Initial consulatation

Irrespective of the scale of your project, at an early stage we can prepare a feasibility report with drawings & sketches to ascertain its viability or otherwise. Sometimes several options are prepared to assist your decision making process. This stage is often appropriate for costing exercises to secure ongoing funding.

Scheme Design

This is often the 1st stage of the design process, where scheme design drawings are prepared following an initial meeting or to a brief developed by the client.

Planning Permission

Due to legislation changes many Planning Applications now require much supporting information in addition to the design drawings, and there is often a formal pre application stage to go through.
Our service adds value by advising you on and dealing with all aspects of the planning application.

Building Warrant

This involves detailed drawings and a specification to be prepared and an application for warrant made to the Local Authority. We will coordinate the structural engineer & energy assessor input (where appropriate).

Tenders / Construction / Operations on site

Most projects require an involvement after the Planning and Warrant stage to ensure Building Standards compliance is achieved, and to avoid problems once on site.
